Opening Day
Saturday, May 1st
Opening Day is this Saturday, May 1st. This year looks a little different as we are coming out of the pandemic but I believe we've got some fun alternatives that will allow for some PMYC activities.
I've described two ways for people to participate below, and I want to see you out there!

Way to Participate #1 - Boat Parade to Fey Bainbridge and Back
Dock call is 1pm and Sailing starts at 1:30pm
We'll have snacks available for pick up at the clubhouse. Don't forget to fly your burgee.
You're welcome to decorate your boat, and bring colorful clothing or flags. Also don't forget your music and/or your fog horn to make lots of noise as we near Fey.
Let's try to get ALL PMYC big boats off the dock! If you have a boat at another marina, feel free to sail over and join the parade. I can't promise sun or wind but let's officially kick off the season together!
Way to Participate #2 - Fey Bainbridge Park
Bring your burgee for beach time and meet new members.
Meet from 1pm - 2:30pm
Not everyone has a sailboat and some might not able to make the parade. For those that don't, bring your burgee and come down to Fey Bainbridge Park. We'll have snacks and a fire going at the picnic shelter to stay warm. Then as the boats from the parade approach we'll make our way down to the beach to cheer.
New members will be joining us at the park and are eager to meet you (and also get signatures on their application).
Lastly, we'll be showing off some of the new fleet of Port Madison Prams. Watch your inbox for more of an intro on these beauties that you can check out for yourselves on Saturday.
